The videotaping of an event, activity, or guest speaker. These can be made available to those who missed the actual activity, or made available to subsequent classes. In the case of a guest speaker, one appearance could be made available to students in future classes.
These productions can vary from the extremely simple (Videotaping a speaker), to more complex. For a speaker in a classroom, it’s a simple matter of taking a camcorder into the classroom and recording the presentation. Videotaping a panel discussion would usually require a microphone for each speaker, or each few speakers. Any additional elements, such as slide shows, Power Point presentations, the use of an overhead projector, inclusion of a video, etc, would add to the complexity.
