COMMUNITY ACCESS TELEVISION CITIZENS' STEERING COMMITTEE
The City of Chico and Butte College are seeking volunteers for a citizens' Steering Committee to oversee the programming efforts of a community access television cable channel. The channel serves Chico, Corning, Orland, Hamilton City, Durham, and Willows through Chambers Cable. The committee works with representatives from government; education and nonprofit agencies to assist in the procurement and development of community access television programming.
Applicants must live in the Chambers Cable service area. Applications are available from: The Chico City Clerk's office, 411 Main St., Third Floor, Chico; Butte College Media Center, 3536 Butte Campus Drive, Oroville; or telephone Butte College at 895-2344.
Applicants should include a letter outlining interests in community access television and any memberships in local non-profit groups operating within the Comcast Cable service area.
